Cork

Why Cork?

Cork, Ireland’s second city, known to its people as ‘The Real Capital’, has been listed by The Lonely Planet as one of the Top 10 places in the world to visit. A huge accolade for a small place but not surprising given the heart and atmosphere this city embodies. Home to University College Cork, established in 1849 this award-winning institution is ranked in the top 2% of universities in the world. Cork has become an IT hub with many large multinational companies locating in the area. The city also fosters innovation through various entrepreneurship and start-up programs which has resulted in the development of a diverse business eco-system. This offers very interesting opportunities for international interns who want to gain experience in their chosen field. Added to this the stunning Irish coastal landscape within easy reach and a young vibrant population, Cork is a top choice for your internship experience abroad!
