ACADEMIC

Eligibility

Minimum GPA:
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.90

Semester in Limerick, housed at the University of Limerick, operates on a semester calendar, so you will have no problem fitting the program into your academic schedule. You can take courses from across the 6 colleges: Business, Education, Humanities, Engineering, IT & Electronics, and Science.

How to choose your course

You can find all courses on offer here.
Courses do not generally change from year to year and students can base course selections on the previous year’s courses as long as they correspond to the correct semester, Spring or Fall.

For further information and details or you can check directly on the UL website at the full book of modules: https://bookofmodules.ul.ie/

Once you choose your modules, get in touch with your home institution and get the approval!

Note:
Please be advised that availability of classes is not guaranteed. At EZC we recommend all of our students select more classes than they will eventually take from the university book of modules (approximately 10 classes to start with). Approve all modules with your home institution before departure as this will allow you to have flexibility in scheduling when you register for classes on-site.
During the first two weeks at the University of Limerick you will participate in the university’s orientation program. During this program you will have the opportunity to try out as many classes as possible to determine which suits you best. Please be advised that availability of your chosen classes is not guaranteed and you will not be registered for your modules until you have completed the university’s orientation program at the end of the first 2 weeks of your stay. During orientation you will be given a registration form to choose the classes you most want and this must be returned to the International Education Office in the second week of orientation.
