DAY 2
Florence
- Historical walking tour of Florence city centre
- Guest Lecture in Italian History (focus on Renaissance)
- Guest Lecture in Intercultural Communication
DAY 3
Florence
- Visit to Uffizi Gallery
- Lunch at Farm Market (Mercato San Lorenzo)
- Visit to The Medici Chapels
DAY 4
Bargino
- Visit Antinori Chianti Classico winery (the passion of wine making tour). World’s Best Vineyards
- Wine tasting
DAY 5
Rome
- Day in Rome (transfer by train)
- Walking tour exploring the city’s most famous landmarks (Colosseum, Piazza Navona, San Pietro, Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi, etc…)
DAY 6
Florence
- Visit David of Michelangelo in Accademia Gallery
- Food tour in Florence
DAY 7
Fiesole
- Visit Roman Theatre (Teatro Romano) in Fiesole
- Free afternoon shopping
DAY 8
Pisa
- Day in Pisa (transfer by train)
- Walking tour exploring the city’s most famous landmarks (ie. Pisa Tower)
- Return to Florence
- Farewell dinner
- Housing is in university campus apartments where students have a private bedroom with shared kitchen facilities
- Faculty members have a bedroom with private bathroom
- Student Hotel Florence also available (private room ensuite)
- Breakfast is included for the entire program
- Some group dinners are included
- Transport is by private coach for longer journeys
- Public transport is used for shorter journeys
- Participants will walk a lot so good comfortable shoes are a must!
